Well winter has come to South West Montana. We are just getting on the warmer side of a big cold front that had the temps down to -24 degrees F at night with highs of -5 for a few days. I love the cold, it makes these typical winter days in the 20’s and 30’s feel warm. There is a pretty good layer of snow down on the ranch and I’m about to take a cross country ski run around to break in a trail. Bring your skis out or we’ll have them rented and here for you. Winter is a great time to get out and enjoy Grey Cliffs Ranch. The snow has brought a large herd of elk from the higher country down to the ranch and our last group of guests got to see them every night and morning.
